EDWARD MANCINELLI • MANAGING PRINCIPAL

Mr. Edward Mancinelli is the Managing Principal of Mancinelli PC. He has a diverse practice with a focus on serving the needs of business clients. Edward also advises on business strategies for healthcare organizations, independent health facilities and regulated health professionals. He has advised clients in a variety of healthcare industry sectors (long-term care, rehabilitation and community-based providers). Edward is also a Board Member at a Toronto public benefit corporation, which owns and operates LTC homes, and a system of community, cultural and health-related centers. In civil litigation matters, he has represented clients before the Federal and Ontario Courts including in reported cases involving intellectual property. He has also represented clients in trade-mark agency and prosecution, before the Trade-marks Opposition Board and domain name disputes.

Prior to establishing Mancinelli PC, Edward served as in-house counsel for a leading North American "incubator" of technology "start-ups" and during his tenure was involved in several high profile IP litigation cases. Edward's past
experience also includes working as an in-house lawyer at one of Canada's largest (TSX-listed) publishers of interactive multimedia software.

DR. CONNIE D’ASTOLFO, DC, Dip HA, PhD(c)
Consultant

Dr. D’Astolfo is both a clinician and independent healthcare consultant. She graduated from National University of Health Sciences (Chicago, Ill.) and holds a post graduate diploma designation in Health Administration from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto and is a doctoral candidate at York University in Health Management.
She is a consultant with Mancinelli PC and brings a wealth of health project management, research and policy experience in independent health facilities, long term care and government. She was formerly a senior health policy consultant and project lead for the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. She has led major health policy projects including a province-wide program designed to manage clinically complex long term care residents and a program for a comprehensive, province-wide prevention and management strategy for depression. She has expertise in policy, health promotion, program and outcome evaluation, practice management and health informatics and works closely with us to develop strategic healthcare policy and programs that includes consultation with government agencies and other healthcare stakeholders.

Dr. D’Astolfo has been in clinical practice since 2001 where she worked both in private practice and in Long Term Care in Toronto, Ontario. She has several published peer reviewed articles in leading academic journals and is a chapter author for a widely distributed clinical text.
